In this episode we’re back with my Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth, and the engine build finally begins.
After a long search, I managed to source a Cosworth engine that was built and assembled by one of the UK’s most respected Cosworth engine builders, Mark Shead. This forms the foundation of the new power-plant and marks a big step forward in bringing the RS500 back to life.
Jamie from J-Tech Automotive walks us through the progress so far, showcasing some of the impressive new components going into the build, along with several freshly refurbished original parts.
It’s great to finally see everything coming together, the engine is really starting to take shape.
Let me know what you think in the comments, and stay tuned for the next stage of the RS500 build.
